This residential building, constructed in 1984, has undergone an energy retrofit and redesign, including the addition of a new floor with a loft apartment built according to passive house standards in wood. The use of eco-friendly insulating materials has enabled an 85% reduction in heating requirements, from 150 kWh/m²a to 22 kWh/m²a. These changes, in line with the owners’ goals, reflect the desire to have a sustainable building for the future of new generations.
