Energy Efficiency as a Model

This renovation project transformed an existing house on the outskirts of Caldaro, boasting a breathtaking view of the lake, into a modern residence consisting of three apartments. Undertaken within a tight schedule due to the owning family’s temporary relocation and their eagerness to return home, the work was completed efficiently, enabling the inhabitants to move back promptly.

The renovation involved an expansion of the building’s volume to optimize available space. The modernization introduced a more contemporary design, enhanced by the creation of terraces that offer enjoyable outdoor spaces and improved enjoyment of the scenery. On the energy efficiency front, the project marked a turning point: replacing traditional wood stoves with a condensing gas boiler represents a choice of sustainability and efficiency. The underfloor heating system and an innovative thermal insulation system ensure high living comfort while simultaneously reducing energy consumption.

Attention to detail, the use of advanced technologies, and the implementation of sustainable solutions resulted in an excellent cost-benefit ratio, confirming the project’s success both in terms of qualitative improvement of the dwelling and client satisfaction.
