ENERGETIC RENOVATION RESIDENTIAL HOUSE F.,
Bozen (BZ)
Fostering Empowering Independence
The objective was to achieve energy self-sufficiency through renovation while maintaining the use of wood from his own fruit trees for heating, despite dwindling supplies due to smaller trees. Preserving the original exterior appearance of the farmhouse was a key priority throughout the renovation process.
The planned renovation encompassed the insulation of exterior walls, the roof, and the ceiling on the unheated first floor. On the southern facade, a new thermal-bridge-free balcony replaced the existing one. The home’s heating and hot water needs are met through a wood-burning heating system, while all electricity requirements are covered by a photovoltaic system.
